[NY] Project Wanted, Running or Not - Rollers OK
Project Wanted, Running or Not - Rollers OK
Looking for a third gen for a restoration/racing project. My main criteria are:
A straight subframe (no accidents)
Rust-free other than minor surface rust
Still mostly complete other than the drivetrain if it's a roller.
I'm not concerned about wear like fading paint or bad tires, I'm just looking for something straight and rust-free. I'd prefer something running but rollers are fine. I'm in Putnam County NY and would prefer something local, but if the price is right I'll arrange transport.

Kush,
I just purchased, I mean Just purchased!, a 1984 Berlinetta. It is a V8 and runs fantastic. I was planning on using it as a project car myself (asthetic only) but medical bills have forced me to do a quick turnaround on it. I'm looking to get out what I have in it (only 6,000).
The car has 31,500 original miles on it. The digital display works fully, a new compressor for the air conditioner was just installed, and there is no rust on the body. Floor boards are in great shape considering its age.
It has T-Tops and the seals are good. I just had the window seals replaced, too. Brakes are in good shape.
I'm looking to get $6,000 for the car. Car is in North Jersey.

I've got a Blue (poorly repaited turquoize) 1987 Camaro Coupe with a 305 Auto/Air... Let me know if you are interested...
Car is in BAD need of a paint job, back to the ORIGINAL Blue...
It's a TEXAS car, never seen a winter or even knows what a snowflake is. 129,500 Original miles. Other than the bad paint job, it is 100% Original and ROCK solid...
Only reason I'm selling it is I've got two other Camaros and need the room (a 68 and a 79 both blue)
