WTB 85-90 IROC or Z28
WTB 85-90 IROC or Z28
I sold my '86 a few years ago and although it wasn't the forever/"one", I really miss it. I've loved these cars since I was a kid, and I know what the market is doing; I want to buy back in and keep the next one for a long time.
I'm open to a lot of possibilities, but I want something lower miles and very original (pref. under 50k miles).
Manual transmission. Bonus points for t-tops.
Not too specific on IROC or Z28, would prefer IROC but a nicely optioned Z28, even if it's got an LG4, would be something I'm interested in. I want original, and my plan is to keep the car original. If you're getting rid of one and want it to go to an enthusiast who will keep it in a climate-controlled garage and only drive it (like an adult) on special occasions, that guy is me.
I'm in the Pacific Northwest but would be open to shipping, or possibly bringing a trailer to your location.

Still looking. I've had a few good leads for very nice cars, but a couple with probably too many miles, and a lot of automatics. I'm really on the fence about another auto...it's not impossible, though, that's what the majority of these cars came with, and they make excellent cruisers.
One guy trying to sell me an "85 Iroc, with original 5.7" ...and he's convinced it's original because "it became an option later in '85". Sure buddy. It's a nice car, but I'm not looking for swaps. I want bone-stock original, right down to old hoses and belts, if I have to.

There's a guy selling a 1 owner, mid mile, gorgeous/immaculate black 5 speed LB9 Iroc. That'd be MY choice.

I’d really like t-tops, though.
