Long time lurker new member looking for a project. After my Iroc was lost due to ownership technicalities and family drama, I am looking for something to replace it. Looking for a 85-92 (90-92 = bonus points) rust free car ttops nice bonus but not absolutely necessary. Mostly original preferred but once again not necessary. i plan to LS swap and throw the DSE catalog at it anyway, just looking for clean mostly unmolested foundation.

 

I have a 85 Pontiac Trans Am 5 spd all original car. Needs some TLC. Let me know if you need some pictures.

Did you seal a deal and settle for the TA? I have an '89 RS that, similar to your plans, I wanted to do an LS swap. Need more room than I have at the house, and finding a rental space large enough at a reasonable price is a challenge. Wife just got her new car so this one has to go...and I can't let it sit outside. It's been garage kept for almost its entire existence. Drove it off the show room floor. I still drive it to work a couple days a week (40 miles one way). Original 305, tranny and rear end (which has been rebuilt). T-Top on the driver side will leak occasionally. Hate to part with it but...
