I remember watching a television show a while back, I think it was on SpeedVision or something.

They had two teams. One made up of older guy's and the other, of a couple of teenagers. They were both given identical Iroc-Z car's and a budget to build them up. One of them (if I remember correctly) installed a supercharger on their Iroc.
It was a half hour episode of something or another, I don't remember the name but at the end, these two Iroc's both raced each other twice (I think) down the 1/4 mile to see who was fastest. The team with the "old guy's" lost 'cause they were shifting their automatic "manually" and were basically a bunch of morons who knew nothing about cars.

The "Younger" team weren't any better. One of the team members worked at a local "Jiffy Lube"

Basically, you had two teams full of cocky and arrogant idiots thinking they were smarter than the competition and raced two Iroc-Z's to see who finished first with the mods they'd done.

The video was posted on a forum somewhere, but I don't know if it was here or not. I'm assuming it was since it's 3rd gen related.

If anybody knows where I can find that video, please let me know.

 

Never heard about that, but I would like to see it. Sounds funny.

 

I saw the show you were talking about, they threw a centrifugal supercharger on one car didnt they?
