I'd like to know if the 89 Firebird had the TPI set up
Cause i want to buy a worrshop manual to see this set up , and cannot find find one of 88
I am presently doing a swap of a 1988 TPI engine ( 5.7L ) into a Pontiac Fiero 1988 .
And i'm missing all the vacuum lines and hoses that goes on the plenum and intake .
I'm stuck with my swap cause of this .
The question is what i need or what i don't to get the engine running good
like the anti polution , throttle body heater , and so , and so .
that will go with 5 speeds getrag .
That is a stock engine

 

You might try getting a factory shop manuel for each car and go from there. Check e-bay, they have lots of shop manuels.

 

Not all of them did. Mine does.

 

Thank you i ordered a 1989 workshop manual for the Firebird , and already own one for the Fiero .
Thing is i want to know if i need the anti pollution set up or not , and i wanna bypass the heater for the throttle body , i don't use the car in winter i'll wait till i have the book and then i'll communicate with you again thanks a lot
