Lots of Toronto members on here. If you are looking for something to do this weekend then you should come out to the "All GM" Show at North York Chev Olds. Show is Sunday from 11 to 3pm and there will be lots of members from here and other 3rd gen owners along with fbody owners.

Address is 7200 Yonge St in Toronto. Get there early if you are coming as this will be a full house.

There are more than a few of us in the Mississauga/Brampton area.

We have an informal meet on Friday nights. We meet at the mall at 410 and Hwy7 (east side). We usually meet up just past 8pm. We park near the Swiss Chalet. It's kind of an informal meeting.....have a coffee and chat about life in general.

Last year they had 10 cars and a new 2010 Camaro on display.

Hey guys, while I have some fellow GTA'ers reading this thread..I'm in need of some help with an e-test.

I picked up an a built '89 Camaro last week. It's got a GM Crate ZZ4 with a TPI top swap, Crane roller rockers and a ZZ4 hot cam. I had it tested under the 'Hot Rod' emissions standards this morning - which sets the emissions standards back to 1980 so basically if the car has a cat, it should pass - and it failed.

Are you referring to Street Classics? If so, that's the 15th not this weekend. Lots of us will be there

Street Classics date has not changed, it has always been May 15th. CCFBG has a dyno day on the 15th as well.

There is a regular Friday night meet in Brampton that I know some of the people attend. That will happen tomorrow night as well.

Just sitting here thinking the same thing, I think he's talking about the one in the Toys'r'us parking lot where the old theatres used to be (showing my age, I saw Mr. T there back in the mid 80's sitting in the back of a convertable like in a parade hehe!). Think that is called West Drive over there.

That's the one. The meet usually takes place in front of the Tim's and sometimes moves over to a bigger space closer to the restaurant that is there.

 

I'm thinking about coming to one of these friday night meets....

Depends on the weather. The Saturday night Street Classics cruise will have a much bigger turnout.

Locally, I buy from Performance Improvements (Brampton), Wildgoose Performance or Karbelt. All three places give a club discount.

Keep a eye on Kijji there are 2 guys in Brampton & Woodbridge for the GTA and one in Hamilton which I use. For new part I have found EBAY it works out cheaper or reproduction wich is also cheeper that some are selling privately that are not in new condition.
