Interior vent lever

I have a Canadian made 1989 rs
I found a fresh air vent pull lever tucked under the drivers dash.
can anyone post a pick of were it should mount I can’t find and information on it.

Cars without factory A/C have the vents. Should be one push/pull lever on either side just below the column to open/close the driver's and passenger's vents.
