So I saw a 3rd gen Camaro today with a funky hood I have never seen and it had a z28 badge in the normal spot by the wheel well on the side skirt. But on the back of the side skirt it had a ss badge molded in. Was there ever a z28 ss Camaro made in the third gen. or is he just slapping different side skirts on?

 

Nope, SS Camaro never came back till the 4th gen. A previous owner just threw the badges on.
