New guys from Quebec
Hello, just wanted to make an introduction, my brother and i are looking to buy a pretty bare bones 1986 camaro with an auto and a 2.8l and just wanted to introduce ourselves...Our plans for the car are to clean up all the brakes-brake lines etc to make the car safe-road worthy, and drive it for the summer, then this winter start a project to install a 6.2l diesel in it with a custom turbo kit, and some serious fuel and tune it to around 325WHP-550ftlbs. torque....
Re: New guys from Quebec
Thanks for the welcome, we have been pretty immersed in searching and reading on here through the amazing amount of info available, and preparing the "shopping list"...LOL... with this COVID-19 stuff going down its slowing the pace, cant go and look at the car to buy it, and cant make money to order parts...LOL
Re: New guys from Quebec
But, we already have all the engine-tranny-turbo-injection pumps-injectors we could ever need to do it, the engine is already built, its a 16:1 with ARP head studs, bottom end main bearing girdle, block is FULL to the waterpump holes with cement, fire rings done on the engine decks with the ol ISKY tool, and an experiment re-using cometic steel head gaskets.... tranny is a DIY home built TH400, with full manual shift mods...
