can i run four speakers off a 2-channel amp??
i'm thinking no, but then again i dont know everything...

You can hook up as many speakers as you want to as long as your amp can handle the ohm load.

if you're thinkin of doing the front and rear off a 2-ch amp, you'll be able to do it if the load isnt too much, but you will lose the ability to fade from front to rear.

i have four 4ohm speakers, the amp puts out enough for 150 a piece in 2ohm stereo, is this what i would end up with if i put 2 four ohm speakers in each channel??

Yes, if you connect two 4 ohm speakers in parallel + to + and - to- then each channel of your amp would see a 2 ohm impedance and would produce 150 watts per channel as per your amps specs.
