Optimus tweeters

I put some in my about 2 years ago . Well actually my cusion did . And the one on my drivers side is starting to get static in it . It still sounds good . But you know how when you have it on a radio station and you start getting out of range with that station and it starts to get fuzzy , thats what it does . But I know its the speaker b/c it does it with cds to . Is this a shot tweeter , or loose wire or what ? Im totally dumb when it comes to stereos .Thanx for the help guys !

You might just have the treble to high so your getting hisses out of the tweeter. if a wire was lose you wouldnt have any sound at all from them.

if their the peazoelectric ones and they havnt been abused id look elsewhere. Those, even though they dont sound as good as coil driven or compression drivers, seem to last forever. Probably a loose connection soemwhere. I ahd this happen to me in my old eclipse. Forgot to solder one of the connections on my old jbl speakers and had to take the door back apart
