Good 4 channel amp..?
Good 4 channel amp..?
My net connection is real horrible right now so I really can't search the boards.... Anyways, I am in need of a decent 4-channel amplifier to power my component speakers and need suggestions. I am looking for around 400w, and don't want to spend too much on it. Thanks
IM using a 4 channel pioneer and thats at a descent price. Try looking at all the mid range ones in crutchfield if your on a budget. Stay away from the usacoutics, profile yada yada.

the USAcoustics 4085 is a nice amp... its 4x85 watts, rated ar 12.9 volts, so it might be a little more powerful, you can get it for around 180 bucks at www.thezeb.com its a budger amp that actually works pretty dam nice. im considering the PPI-480 a precision power amp thats 80x4 @12 volts, carmedia1 has it for 380 so its more expensive but worth it. just some suggestions
i have the USAcoustics USX4065 **65Wx4** and ths USX2100 **100Wx2 @ 4 ohms, 150Wx2 @ 2 ohms** i haven't hooked them up yet... but as soon as i get my amp rack and sub box in then i'll hook it all up and take pics and post how it sounds... but from what i've heard... they are a great amp... at a great price... i got both my amps for $234 shipped 2 my house... got 'em off eBay tho
