Very simple Q please answer

I'm not running a KILLER system. That being said I do have a few amps that are pushing about 400 Watts per channel (At least that is what it says on the amp) It is a ALPINE V-12 what size wire do I need to run between the amp and the speakers? Is it really necassary to run HUGE wire or will the stuff that came with my Rockford-Fosgates be good enough? Keith

No smaller than 8 ga. 4 ga. would be alright but I would get 8 ga. And I would buy Streetwires, or Scosche.

you must have misunderstood him, he is asking what guage speaker wire he needs, (i think thats what he's askin) anyway 12 gauge should be good enough for anything, but 14 or 16 would me the smallest I would go just my $0.02

Thank you both for answering. My post may have ben a bit confusing. But Caleb got it so it sounds like I need to pick up a roll of 12x2 wire and see if that helps thank you much Keith
