Hey
I picked up some Bondo Fiberglass Risen today,
1 package of 75sq DM of Fiberglass mat, and 75sq DM of Fiberglass cloth.
I am plaing on putting tin-FoiL down about the gas tank and on the pannels, and mold the fiber glass the same as the panel's so it fits in there nice n' snug.
What else do I need?
I plan to take pics of my progress and scan them.
I also might make a fiberglass top for my MDF box just so it looks smooth.
My car is red with light gray interior. Should I paint it Red, Black, or gray?

If I were you I would get big roll of masking tape. put down some strips sticky side up where you are going to put the foil. Then put the foil down. This way it will keep the shape real strong when you go to lay down the mat. Just remember expect the resin to turn in to Gel in about 6-15 minutes so lay about 1 cup at a time. I dont know if you know this already but I sure didnt and I wasted about 3 cups. Got a big chunk of worthless glass though. Heh... Well aside from tape thats about all I can think of for that half. How are you going to do the tops? More glass? I would shape that with tape also. You know make some kinda oval shape then cut a hole in the tape for the speaker, put more tape on the hole to make it flat then when it dries drill some holes and make one big hole for the speaker. Well thats what I would do. Not that I'm some kinda expret at this stuff. This would also be my first time working with the Glass. If it were my second time I would not use fleece cause its just a bad idea.
