I just got a Kenwood KAC-819 amp for a $100 dollars from a friend. It didn't come with the book but I looked it up on the kenwood site and it says

mono subwoofer amp
2 ohm stable
450 watts Max Output
230x1 @ 2 ohms, at 14.4 v
Sigma Servo negavtive feedback loop?

Here is my question I have two MTX 6000 10's that are 500 watts max @ 4 ohms.

How should I wire them?
What does the Sigma Sevo do? and how should I hook that up?
Also how come it says 14.4 volts I thought cars ran at 12v?
And how do I tune the amp to work best with the speakers?

There sould be some kind of wiring manual that came with your subs, otherwise we need to know if your subs are DVC.

HITHERE figured out how to wire the subs, HITHERE just need to how about this sigma servo? and about the 14.4v? Anyone familiar with these kenwood amps?

By the way my subs are single voice coil.

About the 14.4v it means that when the amp was supplied with 14.4 volts it was able to put out 230 watts into 2 ohm load.

The term sigma servo is just marketing and probably is just designed to help prevent HITHERE feedback loop (noise, distortion)

a car, when running, will max out at 14.4v. however, most of the time, you will only get around 14v max. when the car is off, you will get a max of 12v
