Kicker Comp VR 8 ohms?

I've been looking at speakers and my friends brother bought a KICKER Solobaric L7. Now that sounds really good, but it's also in a truck and not a camaro. Now I know there is no way I can fit that in my car. BUT he did used to own a pair of the 12" Kicker Comp VR . I've been looking at these speakers and I was told to run two 8 ohm speakers connected to a 4 ohm amp. I can't find any KICKER COMP VR 12" 8 OHM speakers. Do they even have them?

Last question. Whats a DUEL 4 ohm voic coil or something or other?

I think you need around 2.5 cubic feet for a ported box. or you could go with a 10 which needs a smaller box.

Axle/Gears: Slow lol.
Solo L7's and L5's only need .88 cu. ft. sealed, 1.75 ported per enclosure. Comp VR's need 1 cu. ft. sealed, 1.75 ported.

Depends on what size. I know it is recommended for small, but they come to life in ported apps, and larger sealed for Q.

Sorry, those specs were for 12's and those were minimum enclosure sizes. I didn't mention that since we were on the subject of 12's.

On most kicker stuff I have had I didn't like the sound at all in anything close to the minimum sealed enclosure. I actully liked the l7 8's in a 1.4 cuft box and my kicker comp vr 12 didn't go as low as I wanted but I think in a bigger box it would have been more of what I wanted.
