I recently developed a problem. When playing my radio for a long amount of time when my car gets hot the speakers stop working completely, they just cut off. The actual radio still works, I can see the equalizer bars move, but no sound comes out. Any suggestions?

Are your speakers run through an amp or straight from the head unit? What brand radio is it or is it factory? How often does it do it and how long does it take before it cuts off?

In any case it sounds to me like a protection mode of some sort or something along those lines.
