left channel fading in and out by itself

i'm not sure if there is a thread on this topic already, so i'm sorry in advance. For all you GTA members, have any of your RPO:UT4 radios ever had a fading channel problem? has one of the channels (i.e. the left or right) ever faded in and out all by itself? do the speakers crackle and pop when you turn the radio on? do the speakers go out when you hit bumps? this is what happens to me and i know it's not the speakers because i replaced them. my left channel keeps going in and out on it's own will. i recently found out that if i tap on the head unit a couple of times the speakers will come on again. i thank you guys in advance for any helpful info. :hail:

P.S. does anyone know of a place that fixes our steering wheel radio controls? i haven't found any place that does it. i just want everything to be functional.
