Visonik

I was originally looking at JL, but for the money I have since started looking at visonik. Two 10's and one of their amps with an internal fan. savinglots.com has some good deals on them and I have heard good things about them in many car audio magazines. Anybody have any experience with em...I already ran a search and came up with a little...but would like to her more. Also anybody know a super cheap place to buy JL audio stuff...and is it advisable to buy used off ebay (considering unkown wear and tear)...thanks ahead...

I saw that Crutchfield had two 10 inch visonik in a bandpass box for only $149. Doesnt seem like a bad deal.

Visonik is owned by the same company that owns MA Audio. I personally like MA Audio but not sure about Visonik.

I have them...

I have 2 10 inch Visoniks, the BOTTOM of the line ones that I bought from Crutchfield for 105 bucks a pair.

They sound awesome, I don't even have them in a box built specifically for them. I have them running off of 2 PPI 75x2 amps, so they get a clean 300 watts a piece.

I have NEVER seen this kind of quality for so cheap. I think they are awesome. Heck for double the price you could get the higher model ones, I bet they pound.

I bought a bandpass box w/ two 12" Visoniks from Crutchfield for my wife's MX6. I was not happy at all. $250 and it didn't sound much better than the 8" Jensen tube we had in there.

I sent the box back and put the tube back in.

Later I bought some used 12" Kicker Comps and threw them in a sealed box. OH MY!!! What a difference!!!

My first thought after installing the Visonik box was maybe the car just has bad acoustics. Or maybe Crutchfield put the speakers in some generic box. Nope. Visonik made that box for those speakers.

I can't say "not bad for the money", because they were. They put the "ik" in Visonik.
