radio stopped working

radio stopped working

it was crazy it was working fine turned car off went inside house. went to work turned car on then theres no radio. the whole screen part stopped. t he lights on the buttons work just no screen display or sound. what happened? its just a stock casset

It's trying to tell you to buy an alpine or another HU worthy of it's presence in your console...

seriously, It could be a blown fuse or bad connection, don't the stockers have seperate circuits for the lighting and the actual stereo?

not to sure about that? the tunes are the least of my concern its a moddin year this year so the stereo isnt even on the list. im actually selling off most of my stereo stuf now.

what do i need to do to get this back goin...the tunes i can go w/o but i dont like not having the time and everyone asky me whats wrong. help please.

alright guys i found out it was a burnt fuse. i didnt have any 10's so i tried a 20 to see if it was the prob, the deck numbers came back on for a flash then blew the fuse again. what do i need to do so i wont blow them?

Hey do you also have stereo controls on your steering wheel as well?
Sounds to me like somthings grounded out .. dont put in a bigger fuse to hear your tunes. like a 30 amp or somthing because the next tunes you will be hearing will be fire trucks....lol
Factory radios in our cars suck big time...
maybe call a few pick your part places to see if some one has another one on a shelf some where.. or ask in the classified area.. dont forget about the security feature some of them had installed back then also..
