i've had my panasonic CQ-DF601U for almost two years and its never been able to play CD's for a long period of time because it heats up to fast (tried it in all my cars) ive sent it to get fixed almost 4 times and just gave up and let the warrenty expire. The obvious sulotin is to buy a CD change but the deck has MP3 caablites. Should i just buy an mp3 player and use that or is there a compatble CD/Mp3 reader for this unit.

Its done it in every car i have and it does the same thing so im convienced its just a defective one (i should have asked for my money back after the second time i sent it back).

 

well try playing it outa the install spot ie: take it out of the dash but leave it connected and see if its fine or if it puts out alotta heat

 

Nope still misses up ive even tried putting a right on it
