My new sub!!1
I sold my JBL BP150.1 and 10" Type-S to a friend, so naturally, I had to upgrade and build a new box! I decided to go with a Alpine MRD-500 amp (test sheet shows 581.4 watts RMS @ 14.4 volts) and a DVC Alpine Type-R 12". I had to make a new box to hold the whole thing, and i even used some trig to figure the angles!! I never though math could be used to make sub boxes!!! The amp only cost $225 @ ikesound.com, and the sub was only $99.... I went ahead and purchased the alpine bass **** from crutchfield while I was upgrading
. I used an Audiopipe 4GA wiring kit and ran it down the passenger side of the car. You can't see any wires anywhere except under the hood. enough jiba jaba... time for pics!

I used some carpet that I had lying around, but I really want to use a tan color to match my interior.... anyone have any ideas as to where I can get some?
Oh yea, I have kenwood eXelon 4X6 up front and some sony craps in the back. I bought the sonys a long time ago, and I really do plan on getting rid of them and putting them in my moms honda
. The head unit running the show is a Pioneer Premier DEH-P640 (cool little dolphins and stuff display). I have pics of that too...
I am about 4-5% done with my kickpanels. It is my first time using fiberglass, so they are taking longer than expected. I want to put some Infinity Kappas in the kicks and ditch the other speakers.
Tell me what you all think!
