Custom speaker box
Well first of all i did not spend over $500 on this whole project. I built and installed everything myself. The only thing i did buy was the speakers and the amp. Now yes i do feel it is a bit of over kill with the 8'' in the middle. I mainly did it for looks. But i was thinkging about taking it out because i don't really like it. Second of all i do have a social life unlike some people so i don't want the people in my back seats to be holding my T-tops. Third of all the 5 tweeters in the vents (5 vents, one tweeter in each vent) does sound good. I do not have them turned up super loud but it does put out a very clean sweet sound. And if you knew anything about cars then you would know that a 94 Pontiac Fire Bird come with 10 stock speakers. Two tweeters in front with 6 1/2'' speakers, 2 6 1/2 low tone speakers in the middle, and 2 4'' speakers all the way in the back with two tweeters also. And i do agree simple is best, for someone simple. I am not a simple person. I love to push things as far as they will go. I will never be happy until i lose my hearing and blow out every window in my car. And also my amp is covers with a clear hard plastic type material so it cant get hurt or stolen. Now i do listen to some rap and i wanted to prove to some of my friends that i can make my car sound better then any out there. So i put 5 tweeters in because, that's what is new right now. Now for the whole ''i have too many speakers'' i only have 7 speakers going right now. The 4'' in the back i took out earlier today, i also unplugged the 8 in the middle. So i have 7 speakers with 7 tweeters. Oh and mine does sound very loud and clear. The bass is nice and smooth. The box is very well built so it does not raddle. And my speakers are not over run with power. The amp isn't putting out enough to push them to peak power but i like it that way. Over all i have taken it to car shows and have gotten some very goo comments about it. Everything from the engine which i dropped in with my dad. To the custom stereo i put in myself. But i have nothing to prove to anyone. I do this because i love messing around with new ideas. Let's just say i think out side the box, that is why i am never settled with something simple...

If you knew anything about cars you would know that a 94 firebird isn't a THIRDgen j/k
Maybe I missed it, but what was your question?
Edit: seems that you already posted this once
