yep 4 7 mil bolts are what yur dealing with, just be careful since the bracket is made out of plastic... Scrap, I wouldnt cut up those climate control passages for the floor in any way, the car has been original all this time and who am i to come and screw it up like that for a radio? It would make me sick in the stomach every time i thought about what i did to my car so id rather not do it at all....

btw.. the only climate vents I'm talking about that you'd have to mod for 4x6s plates are the defrost vents... and only the driver's side...
(and it still works fine now....)
I think to make our radios fit better in the radiopod, all we need to do is remove a small spacer, not actually cut into it...
but now I'm too lazy to go buy another mounting kit, so I think I'll just leave my radio alone for now.
