Adire Koda 6.1s
Has anyone ever listened to them, I hear they are good quality but just wanna know how they sound. They would go in a set of REZN8TOR kicks. I had Alpine 6.5 SPX's. Just looking for opinions. and suggestions as to what a good amp to power them off of. Time to renew the system.

i dont think too many people on this forum have heard of adire. your best bet for reviews/opinions would be a place like carsound.com or elitecaraudio.com

I've never heard them, but the general consensus seems to be that it's a great woofer paired with a medocre tweeter.

you could do better for the money. those components run around 350 a pair right? i can't say that i've heard them, but i've read a lot of comparisons of them to other common components, some of which i have heard.
i've got a soft spot for rainbow components. my alumapros are made by rainbow, basically the rainbow germaniums. i'm running them with about 300 watts rms on the pair, my 8004 is turned up almost halfway. they get real loud, but not harsh loud. its really smooth, doesnt hurt your ears, is pleasant to listen to at high volumes. the silk tweets also help with this.
i'd just shop around a bit more and listen to any set you have the chance to.

I'm still working out the details on my system insatall. I got the koda's in a barter so to speak. I am using them for rear fill though, my front fill is the JL XR-653's. I think I agree on the tweeter though, they are designed off axis so mounting is less forgiving, but I'm not sure of the sound yet. BTW, this is in a 79 malibu wagon, not a 3rd gen, so the sound staging would be different.
