why do my subs make a heart beating sound when the music is paused? it's quite annoying.

It's the amp directly or indirectly. Could be the wiring going to the amp. Or the amp itself. My friends subs used to look like they were breathing. We redid the wiring bigger gauge and better connections. Then it worked fine.

it's weird. my car got broke into. and the front speakers stopped working. i removed all spkr wire and wired the spkrs to the head unit, cause that amp went out. when i had my subs hooked up to the other amp, they worked fine. but after removing everything, and then hooking it back up, they're doing it. could it be the power wire?

More then likely bad grounds...
