questions for those who did the rear seat amp install

I have a split rear seat and two amps that need to be installed and it looks like I will have to somehow join the two seperate backs into one for this to work correct. Where and how did you guys run your wires from the amp(s)? My plan is to make a bracket that will hold my dist block and screw it into the area where the 6x9 use to be on the drivers side of the car. It will basically take the place of the speaker and be easily acessable if need be. My only concern is the routing of the power wires to the 2 amps. Did you guys run yours wires inside the seats along the bottom of the seat backs inside the covers? Also, anyone have any good ideas on how to join to 2 seperate searts back togheter and still make it look like their seperate?

My car came with a split rear seat. I converted over to a solid rear so that I would have enough room to jam everything into my back seat (two amps, distro blocks, and crossovers). It's a pretty simple process. Go out and buy a 1 piece rear (you can keep your current bottom cushions) and then cut out the bracket that's mounted above the driveshaft tunnel that the seats mount to in the middle. It will get in the way of a 1 piece cushion. You could do what you want to do (make it look like a split rear) but it would take a pretty good amount of work with the seat cover to make it look right.

well I wanted to convert to a 1 piece seat back but the fabric designisnt offered in a 1 piece design. Im gopnna try and make this work and still be able to use my split rear. I wont have any intentions of pulling just one down since noone can sit back there anyway with the cage. Anyway, thanks for the help
