I just bought one Alpine Type R 12" and bought 3 sheets of 3/4 mdf board and all the stuff i need to make the box. I wanted to make something that looked like a false floor. But i noticed that the size of the magnet and the trunk angle....make its almost impossible to do without not making it small airspace. I wanted to see if anyone everyone is resulting in angleing the subwoofer box to the front?? Does anyone have the plans they used to make a box.

 

You mean spilling out of the hatch and over onto the hump? It has been done. 1meanGTA did it with his ported box and another guy did it with some 15w6v1s. There are not any clear cut plans for it that I know of but it's defiantly doable. The biggest problem is the plastic trim back there - it curves so it's hard to get your false floor to line up correctly. It also makes it impossible to open the storage door in the hatch.
