I had a carPC in my 89 for a while... But took it out as I was having a hard time seeing the screen. It was cool, I loved the fact tht I had a 80G Hard Drive holding all my music, and I had GPS, and DVD, and internet.... but during the day I coud hardly see anything, so I just said to heck with it and pulled it out and got a halfway decent Eclipse deck.

yea, i had a box with a 10" sub in the spare tire area, facing the center of the trunk..
it sounded GREAT!
i setup two presets on my headunit... one for top up, and one with the top down... the sub was turned up a littler higher with the top down.. but it still sounded great.
alot of people thought i had 2 12s or some other large setup in the trunk, but really it was just a 10" sub in a good size box.
because the box was off to the side, it didnot effect the little trunkspace i did have.

This is what I have in my trunk. My '92 has molded fabric inserts instead of the plastic glove box and spare covers. The 10" sub sounds really good and puts out more bass than you would think.

that is EXACTLY what i did to mine, but on the other side...

i highly recommend that setup.. it sounds GREAT.
im not a sound expert.. or even a audiophile, but i think theres something about that small trunk that LIKES 10" subs mounted in that fashion.. it just works very well.

What about my 2 alpine 12's in the trunk of a vert. lol. I know it's going to be to much and the trunk space will be no more. But hey it's what I have and it will be what I will use. lol. I am going to restore the IROC. So the system is coming out of there. What's the most some one has shoved in the trunk of there vert? Adam :-)
