Car: 90 R/S camaro 3.1L stock,
suprized what ya find at the bone yard.

Any suggestions other than throw it all away are appreciated.

Ok heres a list of spkrs i just picked up at the bone yard.Aprox 3.00 a piece.2 Pyle 4" PLX42 4ohm rated 120 watts(prolly max 120), 2 Pyle 4x6" 2-way coaxials PLG462 rated 180 watts(again thats prolly max), 2 Infinity referance series 3.5" 25w RMS 75watts peak 4ohm 2ways, 2 kenwood KFC-6964 Peek 100 w 4ohm 2ways 6x9", 2 audiovox SL-50's 3way 4/8ohm 300w peak per pair, .(always thought of A/V as junk till i hooked up this pair they sound good.)
Have in a 90 camaro now a pair of infinity referance series 6x9" 3way 100w rms 300w peak 4ohm in the back seat area , 2 4x6" pioneer 2way coaxial 120 watt peak(if i remember right)4ohm in the front deck.and either the junk bass box with a mystery amp (see other post about this box&amp)and a set of (aparently)petra 12" subs or a home brew enclosed box with an Infinity referance 7521a amp driveing an Infinity 12"sub(I forget the watts of the sub but it can handel the amp bridged and then some). The head unit is an Aiwa CDC-Z137 that claims (by the owners manual)to put out 45 watts x4 channels. This is driveing the 6x9's and the 4x6's and the amp/sum setup.I also am runnin an old DHD passive EQ before the sub to control the input to the sub as i don't have a remote for it yet.Nuthin else is hooked up to the EQ as yet.
I know 99% is what most of ya would laff at and call junk and i know it's not anywhere near top shelf stuff but it's what I can afford right now.
My taste in noize ranges from AC/DC to Rob Zombie in metal and NWA to ICP in rapp.I usually like ta blast it at near top end of system(if it's too loud yer too old.Die already!)Would like to get suggestions on combos with what i have to get loud as hell and also not ear bleeding capablewhen have the kids in the ride.Almost like a lo power setup(ear friendly) and then flick a switch and **** the world off.

Pyle audio components can actually be bought at the electronics store I go to, so well.... they're not really any good I don't think.

Infinity .. well .... I'm using Reference 4" front and a 1042 sub, so that's actually a decent thing ya got there

I used to love Pioneer speakers until I heard Infinity lol ... even though I don't like bright speakers I seem to prefer clear and bright ones and just turn the highs down

well since the 6x9 infinity seem to be seperateing from the diaphram will be tryin to substitute both sets of the pyles for the 6x9's while i repair the seperated areas.(and yea will do pix of the repair)But have a carrier that came in either a bird or C-ro that holds a 4 and a 4x6 in the 6x9 spot.but the rest will prolly go to the cars that are systemless in the yard here at the house.

Kenwood makes ann ok speaker, as for Pyle they used to be good but I am not sure of that anymore. We all know Infinity is an excellent speaker.... so you may actually have a nice collection of sound there!

I agree, Pyle is not really great at all. the only good thing about them is that they handle a good amount of wattage, so blowing them is harder than most. quality of sound is no better than the stock delco/delphi ****.

Do yourself a favor and throw the Pyle and Audiovox speakers in the trash. You paid about what they cost new... for a good reason too. Factory speakers are better!

Rule of thumb. If it's sold in JC Whitney... it's no good!
