factory subs

i am trying to get my 88 gta back 100% origanal and it had the fectory sub option. the origanal subs are shot and i was wondering what i can do to get replacements. are there subs that small still made or would it work to put regular speakers in its place? or is there somewhere that will re-build my origanal ones?
thanks,
Brian

Check out this selection of 4" subs at PartsExpress:

Im not 100% sure of the original subs were 4" but you can probably find a suitable one at that website.

The Fiero store also sells them. Fiero's also had a 5.25 inch sub. Here's the link http://www.secureleadercom.com/fssto...ield=inetsdesc
