95/96 stock hidden sub box.
Ok guys & gals did the search no luck lets see what ya all can come up with.
Just aquired the factory Bose sub box from a 95 camaro.Drivers side.It has the lil 6inchish sub(if ya can call it a sub) And the amp(LOL)as well as what should be some kinda filter/crossover.All wires , ect are intact.Just unplugged it from the dead cars harness and paid less than 5.00 for it.
I know most audioheads think Bose fact systems are crap.I agree for the most part. But the enclosure was worth the $ for the dimensioins alone. And I like ta play with stuff.(LOL)
Now to what I'm lookin for...A wirein schematic. As I said I unplugged the whole unit.So have all the wires intact. The boards are intact and have sources written on em.Things like bat + grnd and in+1 in + 2 incom shld 1 shld 2. I can read and understand that .But it all inter connects on the boards and is rather redundant at a glance.
The 2 thicker wires enterin the enclosure hit the board at a place that suggests main power input and main ground.Simple enuff. But theres 9 other wires enterin same enclosure some are actually exiting it if boards reading right. Thus my confusion. If this amp/crossover was strictly for the sub then one would expect 1 main power 1 main grnd 2 or 3 audio inputsand a potential remote on power input sourse.
Anyone have the tech on this unit?Sub works on it's own tested it with 9 volt batt out of enclosure so as to not damage circuits in enclosure.
Heres all info on internal components as they are on each unit.
AMP ASSY,100W,95 F CAM
16206592
177958-1165
S/N 020632
(SUPPOSED AMP ABOUT 4 INCHS SQUARE)
95F CAM REAR
16206590
175910-1064
(I assume crossover/filter?Again aprox 4 in sq)
The wires come in hit filter go to amp back to filter then to sub and some back out the enclosure.
Anny assistance is apreciated.

The 93-94 Camaro's used a 3-way BOSE Speaker system.
95 and up used a 5-way speaker system. Each of the front speakers carreies it's own amp. The amp in the Sub woofer controls the Woofer as well as the left and right rear sail panel speakers.

Okkkkkkk. This helps some.TY.So a couple a the lines headed back out the enclosure actually double back to the sail panels.
I could therefore assume that some the extra leads into the enclosure to the amp/filter assy are the feeds to the sails.Since those are still in the car at the bone yard as of yesterday I should be able to get impedances from them ,if they are still stock,as well as double check which wires they are from their color also do the dummy light thing to double check which they are.
A "safe" assumption would be that the sub runns of a pos and neg lead from each side essentially being bridged going into the amp.(taking a signal from either side of the head unit to make it mono not stereo thump in 1 spot.)
Do you know if the amp unit actually drives the sails or just routes the signal? And how the defeat function for the amp might work?
Or better yet would ya have a sourse to pass on about this system?Wire schematic ect??
THNX for the help as it is.....Bill

95 BOSE wiring
Here are the wiring Schematics pulled from the 95 Shop manual..... I'm only going to keep them on my server for a short time so download them to your hard drive.

Those should answer most of your questions !!!! I own a 95 Z that came wiht every option except for leather and BOSE. I liked the way the BOSE conversion worked out in my 84 Berlinetta - so I added the BOSE into my 95Z.
