Re: sub & amp mounting questions
you can but you need to make your own box and it wont be luad as a single 10 in a well box casue of less air space

Re: sub & amp mounting questions
you would also have to make a rack for that amp to mount to.. i hope you wouldnt be mounting it straight onto the fender :P.. but an amp in there may overheat or have a hard time cooling

Re: sub & amp mounting questions
I know a few people who have mounted them under the PS seat, it will work if the amp fits under the seat. It may get hot but shouldnt overheat.

Re: sub & amp mounting questions
^^^ yup.. it may get hot but under the seat is always covered so no sun is on it or anything.. the side of the car on the fender would be like an oven.. well at least in my dark blue t/a

Re: sub & amp mounting questions
it's a pretty small amp so it should fit under the seat, my car has t-tops, a rear cargo shade & is my daily driver in the summer, so i have to mount everything out of the way,& route the wireing the same way, my nephew says the 10's are pretty loud, even without an amp, once i get to the point where i can start putting the car back together (i'm doing an interior swap, replaceing the hood & fenders & painting the car) he's going to help me wire everything up.

Re: sub & amp mounting questions
Subs should be ran with an amp, put a crossover on it and run low pass only. It will sound much better. Also, when you run the wires, run the power wires away from the speaker wires to avoid noise from the power side. Just some suggestions. Im no expert, but I've learned a few things as many times as I've done these

Re: sub & amp mounting questions
he has the subs & the amp, originally i had a 12' sony Xplod that he said he was going to buy off me wich he never did, then i found out a couple days ago he traded it for 2 10's, i had an idea how to run the wires seperate when i was going to put the amp in the trunk but now i have to figure something else out,, i wonder if i can put the amp inder the drivers side rear seat? probably not...

if i could get one of those custom made sub boxes for Camaros/Firebirds for cheap i would do that & put the amp in the storage box, maybe i'll find one at the car show i'm going to next month.
