Rear seat sub box

Hey,

Im gonna be building a custom box that will fit where my rear seats will be. Yes I know the best spot is the rear well aiming towards the hatch. I had that setup in my other maro and it was awesome. However, with this car I have a fuel cell and a firewall mounted in the well so theres no room back there. My question is what is the best direction to aim the subs? ie: towards the front seats, straight up, back at the hatch. Anyone have experience with this? Im guessing aim them back at the hatch to somewhat recreate the excellent bass response of the rear well setups. Pictures welcome

Thanks!

Re: Rear seat sub box

your on the right path. if you wanna get trick than pull the panels at the back and build a fiberglass box in the area behind your tires in either corner, make sure your seals are good on that hatch though cause they might get a little wet if not mint and you wanna make them removable to get at your taillights if be. but if you try that then it would be a sweet stealth sytem and still sound great.well worth the effort.
