Alright my radio in my 92 firebird has been acting a little weird with how its working. lately ive been considering a new radio with an hd reciever but i think it might not solve the problem. When im driving the radio has random static noises, by that i mean when i stop at a stop light it gets staticy in a spot but if i inch forward to another spot its fine . And when im driving i hear little static bursts

NOTE: I do have a ground wire on my firewall that has been disconnected to the motor but the light on the radio does not get brighter and fade while driving so i think that means i have good power.
