HELP!!!
HELP!!!
my radio is really stupid, i have a kenwood and its always worked except that it goes on protect mode, i figured out that means that wires are touching, i usually can fix it by pulling it out and all that, but this time when i pulled it out, something popped, i checked the fuses on the car and on the radio they aren't blown. I connected the radio back and now it won't turn on at all. any ides would be most helpfull. Thanks

Re: HELP!!!
Sounds like your radio crapped out. You need to get into the compartment with a multimeter and start checking your voltages. You should have two wires that are 12+ with the ignition switch on. I am not sure of the colors off the top of my head. I think 1 is yellow and the other is orange. I would check a wiring schematic 1st and 2 grounds. If you have voltages there, Next move the stereo next to the battery and put the 2 positive wires directly on the + side of the batter and - for the ground wire. If your radio still doesn't come alive. Get the shovel and bury it or send in for repair.
