Try to use the search tab at the top before positing. A basic well box is good enough for your application. Look around for box designs that catch your eye.

Hey,
Welcome to the board.
There is a "how to" build a sub box at the top of this section (link below). You should be able to make it fit the air required for your sub. Just remember to measure everything twice and seal the box air tight.
Cood luck!!

Thank you for the advice slow305rs, just wanted to make sure I could def put an l7 in it before I make the purchase. Although the sound system is the last thing I have to do to this beast lol. And sorry for posting a thread DJ. I just thought there would be Knowledgeable and helping people here.

FYI...the Kicker L7 takes about 2 cu.ft. (sealed and ported) there are better subs for about the same money that will use less air thus needing a smaller box.
Look at the Image Dyanamics IDmax 12", Stereo integrity 12", SSA ICON 12".

Take the advise that "The Project" stated. He knows a LOT about car audio. I saw his I.A.S.C.A. competition car back in the day and all I can is WOW!!
Re: subwoofer question, new to board
my friend was gonna hook me up with a new l7 for under 220. thats why i am leaning towards it. already have the kicker zx750.1, looking for something that would go well with in that price range.
