1984 factory radio replacement or repair

I have a 1984 camaro. It has the GM Delco ETR radio. THis is the one with the 5 channel equalizer. Currently my cassette deck has stopped working. I have heard rumor of these being remanufactured with provisions for an audio input. Either way I am looking to maintain my stock appearing deck(so please don't post anything besides stock replacement ideas!). Any solutions?

Thanks.

You can pull pretty much any tape deck from pretty much any GM of similar years or even newer.

Or go way newer but still stock looking , you will only have to change the plug , you can find factory adapters that goto your harness to the newer one in cavaliers.

That radio pictured above has a 9-pin auxiliary input on the back for driving a slave unit (cassette or cd changer). You can use that to add another audio source with an adapter such as this one.

The head unit in my 89 looks just like that one pictured by The_Wraith except it is a CD deck, I plan on using the GM9-AUX to hook up a Siruis receiver and play through the CD changer input.
