enclosure covering

Several years ago, Lowe's had a black "carpet" that I used to line the inside of my trunk and my sub box. Now they don't have it anymore. It was a really short fiber material that looked very close to carpet. Does anybody know where I can find this stuff? It looked almost exactly like the carpet on the rear trim pieces in the back of our cars.

I got mine at Jo Ann fabric. They got lots of colors and styles. It worked perfect.

Re: enclosure covering

Back in 2004, I built a sub box for my Fosgates. Instead of enclosure carpet, I used self-leveling gray silicone to cover up the box. It was actually pretty cool. I got a lot of complements due to it's rubbery feel and look.

Re: enclosure covering

Ditto on WalMart - I got black and it although black is easy anyway, it is a great match both in color and texture.
