few quick questions

Do any of you have anything of Pyle audio? im looking at a 1400 watt amp and i dont wanna buy anything junk. also im looking at getting a sub box that covers the entire well area, the box is from subthump. could i relocate my amp and cap to the bottom of my well area, under my sub box?. im having problems now hiding my wires with it on the hump so i figured this would look cleaner and hide everything but my subs. thank you for your answers!!

Re: few quick questions

Pyle is low end stuff, it'll work, but its cheap stuff. much better stuff out there for not too much more

grab something used off ebay or search the diymobileaudio classifieds

don't put the amp under the box - no air circulation + heat = amp protection mode, no sound. and if for some reason you ever got a leak (and these cars do), you're gonna have bigger issues on your hands

And just so I am not bombarding on your post about nothing.

I have an 86 Camaro. My system is all Rockfor Fosgate. I got 2 P2D2 12" subs. And I have About 1000 watts accumulated between my two RF amps also. Got it all in a custom built box I made to fit snug into the hole in the back. And I tell you what, it shakes the car REAL good.

Re: few quick questions

pyle is owned by the parent company of pyramid and legacy.
it is complete TRASH.
these are also the arsholes that bought one of the best US built amps (lanzar)
and moved its production to taiwan. it is now junk as well.

a 1400 watt pyle will be a real 100-200 watts.
i dont care what it says on the box, this is what I've done since 1992.
dont buy it.

Re: few quick questions

Lots of good inexpensive well performing subs out there; Pioneer, Kenwood, Clarion, Eclipse just to name a few of the better ones.

As for amps, look at HiFonics or Vibe. Vibe can be found on www.sonicelectronix.com
