I'm out of ideas...help!

Here's my dilema. A couple of months ago I removed my antenna so I could put a cover on my car to protect it from the snow. When I removed it I accidently pulled out the whole thing. Now, I am having a heck of a time reinstalling it. I can put the wire back into the antenna but I cant get the antenna to go back to where it is supposed to be. Can anyone help me with the reinstallation of my antenna?

You took it out of the fender to put a car cover on? You do know the mast unscrews from the base, and thus you can just leave the base in the fender, right?

You have to get to the antenna through the wheel well - remove the plastic splash guard from the inner wheel well.

I know that it does but when I was unscrewing it the entire thing just came out instead which has left me in this dilema. When I go through the wheel well how does the antenna stay in place? Is it just held down by the cord?

There is a nut on the backside. Well - actually - I guess the fender part acts like the nut - you'll see when you remove the plastic.

Ok I will check it out tomorrow if it doesnt decide to pour rain on me like the weather reports are saying. So it's on the back of the fender?
