UQ7 gain switch & amp

hello guys,

I think somehow my factory amp got fried while welding in my sub frame connectors. My battery was disconnected before the weld in, but I lost my amp right after that.
The light turns on for the gain control but I dont hear the amp power on, nor do I hear my subs kick in or get a response when I slide the gain control ****..right or left

any inputs?

sincerely,

Lennie

The amp is easy to get to, it's located just behind the plastic panel under the map pocket. On the amp, check for:

12v on the pink wire at pin #13.

Ground on the black wire at pin #14.

Re: UQ7 gain switch & amp

It maybe the gain switch itself, they do go bad.I replaced mine awhile ago and that fixed the problem.
