ok that bosei setup is it worth swaping it in to my camaro just to say i have it and added it ?????? i think its cool

compared to modern aftermarket equipment, the Bose is not worth the aggrevation and wiring work to correctly install it. While it may have been a nice upgrade in the 80s, you'd get better sound and more features with something more modern.

the bose system uses a special deck and individual amplifiers for each speaker, of which are also a non-standard ohm rating. lots of wiring to deal with, pain to replace if something goes bad. grab a good aftermarket deck and you can gain aux inputs, mp3 compatibility, bluetooth, etc. it will also be easier to wire in as well.
