Getting a new amp as soon as it ships from Hawaii. Gave my dad my old amp for his new set up for his truck. New amp is a 900 W Pioneer I use to onlt have a 300 W RMS so both of my subs were only getting about 150 W each. I started thinking of something cool i could Fab up to make the system look more eye catching. Ive seen people make covers for their amps. But theyre usually just square. So i thought, Why not make a Pontiac one? Its not too large of an amp. I could have it set vertically in my little box/Cover. And dont worry,the amp has thermal protection and an internal fan if it gets too hot. The cover will also have vents. Anyone else ever done this? If anyone can come up with something more slick than just mounting the cover on the box thatd be awesome. Im thinking of mounting it flush inside the center of the box.





Thats my set up now. Try to imagine a pontiac logo where the old amp was. Ill make a picture as soon as i go take one of the box

Okay just looked up the Amp dimentions. My bad,its a JVC AX5700. If i make a cover,It will have to be just in the rear,not on the box. The amp is 17 inches long and 13 wide.
