4th gen ac delco overheating an shutting off

Engine: LR4 4.8
Transmission: 98-02 t56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: Bw 9 bolt (3.70’s) pbr rotors
4th gen ac delco overheating an shutting off

Ok has anybody else have this problem while listening to tunes the radio will randomly shut off but only the clock an station display everything else still works lighting etc but once the radio has cooled down/manually unplug an reconnect it will turn right back on an work just fine can anybody help me out woth this situation

Where are those joints located are u talking about the connector that the radio Plugs into ????
