I am trying to find an original radio for my '90 Iroc to match the RPO code. The car has a dealer installed GM CD deck, so the original is long gone. I can't try salvage yards 'cause I dont know what it supposed to look like. I know it has an equalizer, but that's it. Any ideas? If anybody has one laying around they would part with...
Thanks

Do you have plans for the CD deck thats in there now? I've been looking for an original Delco one.

Also, I might be wrong, but isn't a UM6 a stereo S&S cassette, no equalizer?
The only plans I have for the CD unit is placing it in the trash barrel. It doesn't work (power supply?)and it would cost $200 (flat fee) to rebuild. I am only assuming the UM6 has an equalizer because 'eq' is in the RPO description. I am hoping somebody has one and could tell me. Thanks.

I have UM6 listed as:
UM6: RADIO, AM/FM STEREO, SEEK/SCAN, AUTO REV CASS
If its the one I'm thinking of, it should look something like this, but without the chromed *****:
If you're just going to throw the CD out, let me know, I'd pay the shipping for it so that I might have a go at fixing it.

That looks exactly like the radio in my '93 G-20 van. It is without a doubt a POS. At this point I don't know exactly what I am going to do. Thanks a ton for scanning the pic.
