system suggestions.... ??

i was just wondering, is the Pioneer DEH-P77DH a good cd player? Also, how is the Pioneer CDX-P1250 12 disc changer a good cd changer? What is a good 5x6, 6x9 (to replace my factory speakers) and amp combination for around $250-$400 ? any comments would be greatly sppreciated.

Pioneer in general makes very good head units and CD changers. I've owned several in my lifetime and have never had any complaints. And I've never had any problems getting warranty work done (keep the receipt). You can get some decent Pioneer 6x9's for about $100 - $150.....If you are willing to spend more $$$ for speakers you should check out MTX and Infinity. You may be a bit pressed to get speakers and a good amp for under $400......just my thoughts.

ahhh, ok, how bout under $600, would i be able to find anything decent for around that? Also, is there an online site that lists good car audio shops near specific zip codes, i recently moved to goose creek south carolina (near charleston) and have no clue where anything is.

I'd recommend getting some 6x9's, the head unit, and the 12-pack first...you could probably get all that plus installation for under $600. I'd suggest holding off on the amp until you think about installing subs. Besides you can get a high powered head unit that will put out decent power
