im new to the site and this is my first post. ive got a 92 Z28 convt. and i was wondering if anyone knew what kind of system i could fit in there w/o major modifications. ive got an xplod amp already.

if you want to use just factory spots, get some 4x6 speakers in the dash (plates preferably) or custom kickpanels (dj sexay makes nice ones), 6x9s in the sails (3-way at most, 4-way is just unecessary). i'd go with a sub in the well too if you dont mind running some wire for an amp.

 

Convertables dont have sail panels. I thought they used 6.5" speakers in the back.

lol, i know the feeling. I work night shifts and be on here when i cant sleep on weekends makes me do that too.

I've never seen a convertable so i cant tell what sub will fit in. I assume the back well would be the same, and that the converable top folds in front of it, i dunno. Someone else want to take it from here???
