300 Watts Bridged good enough for 2 12s?
Just wonderin, I have an 8 tube now and I was wondering would the 12s thump with 300 watts?
depends on what type of twelves they are, let us know and also tell us what the power handling is for them, cause if one can handle 300watts rms and is a 4ohm sub, then u would need at least 450watts rms for both of them to go to almost but not quite there max, also your amp has to be able to run at a 2ohm load mono, if both your subs are 4ohm, unless you wire is series then with 2 4ohm subs you would get an 8ohm load but also you would get less power from your amp, if both your subs are 8ohm then u can wire them in parallel and get a 4ohm load(some dealers will sell you 8ohm subs if bought in a pair to run in mono so they are safe for any amp) so give us more info man, if you have been around long you should know that we need more info on your subs to answer your queston
it should sound good. unless the subs you get are supposed to be running more power. not that many subs require more that 75w or so, but if you get some high end subs you might want a little bigger amp.

What kind of amp is it? Power numbers don't mean much.
Ive got 2 12" MTX6000 and 2 6x9s running off my jenson 500 watt amp, it doesnt sound that bad but a bigger amp wouldnt hurt I guess. I would guess they are getting about 185 watts each and they can hit pretty hard.
