I have been running a doubledin in this car for many years now and never liked the absent erea where my heater controls used to be. I had made a plate to fill in the hole and plastic welded it in. Considered having a solid 3D printed oe made till i found this. 9" Andriod made to fit in a double din hole. Still fabbing a aluminum cover plate but looking good so far

 

finished the aluminum plate and covered it with the same carbon wrap. Looks clean in tthere

Looks great, I was tempted to go with one of those thin head units, saw one on Amazon.

I ended up hating myself and got a Pioneer android auto unit, and that **** is deeeep... so many wires. I hope mine comes out looking this good

 

I put this one in my Bird a few weeks ago which led me to update the wifes as she liked mine alot. This the same brand and style but in a traditional 7" doubledin
